Heather Walker is a professional horn player and a core member of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra. In 2021/2022, The Vancouver Opera is returning to the stage with covid protocols and restrictions in place. Heather is thrilled to be performing with her colleagues for the upcoming performance in February 2022.

This beloved masterpiece, Cavalleria Rusticana in Concert delivers intense passion, memorable music and incredible arias. This one-act opera, performed live and in concert, welcomes back Music Director Emeritus Jonathan Darlington to conduct the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and Chorus. Sung in Italian with English Surtitles.

When not performing music professionally, Heather also teaches the Alexander Technique, a method of movement awareness and postural re-education. It can be used by anyone to avoid injuries, move with more efficiency and freedom, create better posture, and live your life with more lightness and ease.
