Heather is currently busy giving presentations in Nanaimo area elementary schools as a part of the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra’s “Send a Symphony Muscian to School” project. This is a Nanaimo district wide initiative where every grade 4 student gets to have a musician give a presentation to their class. The musicians will introduce the instruments of the orchestra, talk about learning music, play some music on their instrument, and decribe what to expect when the children come to upcoming symphony orchestra concerts in the Port Theatre.  Heather is currently presenting at elementary schools in Ladysmith, Cinnabar, North Cedar, Chase River, and North Oyster.
