Enjoy the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo on February 18th, 2012. Heather is a core member of the orchestra and will be participating in this concert of Operatic songs with soloist, Ken Levine.

For those of you who would like to refresh your ideas about the Alexander Technique, you may book a spot with Heather on the limited dates when she is teaching in Vancouver. Here are upcoming dates for Alexander Technique lessons in the month of January and February 2012:

Jan. 18, 19, and 23rd – afternoon lesson spots at the home studio near Main St.

Jan. 21 – afternoon lesson spots at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra school of music (downtown).

Feb. 2, 3 – mid-day teaching spots at the home studio near Main St.

Feb. 4 – afternoon teaching spots at the VSO School of Music (downtown).

VSO Mahler 2nd Symphony, Jan. 23rd

Choreographed by Edmund Stripe, with spectacular sets and costumes by Emmy Award-winning designer Zack Brown, this production takes place in the opulent grandeur of turn of the 20th century Imperial Russia. Danced to the glorious Tchaikovsky score, played live by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, this production displays every cent of the $1.5 million budget through the stunning sets and elaborate costumes.
